Chocolate Workshop
This is suitable for 8 – 18 people.
As the name suggests, this course is solely dedicated to the world of chocolate. It is hosted in our beautiful riverside room and will involve getting your hands dirty! Chocolate truffles, devilish dark chocolate mousse and florentines are amongst some of the delights that you will be creating throughout your afternoon with us. You will be able to take your creations home at the end of the session to treat a loved one and wow your friends. You will also be given the recipes for all of these chocolate treats so you are able to recreate them in your own home.
Cost - £45.00 per person
Champagne and Cup Cake Decorating
This is suitable for 8 – 18 people.
This is an afternoon of indulgence! You will have the opportunity to make treats such as chocolate truffles and indulge your artistic side by decorating your own cupcakes, all washed down with a chilled glass of Champagne. Your session includes full private hire of our beautiful riverside Aga kitchen, your own private chef, helium balloon decoration and, of course, all your chocolatey goodies to take home with you at the end of your day (along with recipe booklets).
Length of course - 2.5 hours.

Champagne Cup Cakes and Macaroon Workshop
This course is suitable for 8 – 18 people.
As with the above course, you will be making chocolate truffles, decorating cupcakes and enjoying a chilled glass of bubbly. However, the course also includes private hire of our fully equipped professional kitchen and provides you with the opportunity to create the fabulous French treat of macaroons! Again, at the end of the day you will receive a goody bag filled with your culinary creations and all the recipes so that you are able to recreate them at home.
Length of course - 3 hours

Afternoon Tea and Temptations
Nothing beats an afternoon filled with friends, tea, scones and cakes. When you arrive you will be shown through to our large Aga kitchen with your fellow guests. The afternoon is a perfect chance to share your love of this very English tradition.
This demonstration and taste afternoon will progress through the sweet and savoury delights that should be appear on the table and culminate with everyone sitting down to share the fruits of LucyCooks’ labour (served with tea and coffee). There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and acquire hints and tips to repeat the experience at home.

Half Day Practicals
These half day practical courses include plenty of hands on work. Your group will be creating two dishes in our fully equipped professional kitchen which can be chosen from a number of menus. Here are a couple of examples –
A Taste of Italy - creating your own pasta with wonderful fillings, traditional ragu and home made foccacia.
A Taste of Thai – introducing you to traditional Thai flavors with dishes such as Tom Yum Kai (Thai soup) and Laap baung (Thai beef and lemongrass).
After completing the creation of your culinary delights you will be seated in our beautiful riverside Aga room to enjoy the fruits of your labour along with a glass of wine and tea and coffee to finish of your session.
