Are you Britain's best Home Baker?

LucyCooks are proud to sponsor Britain’s Home Baker of the Year 2008

Actress and queen of home baking, Jane Asher, has announced the dates for the Home Baker of the Year award 2008, which is open to anyone aged 16 and over throughout the UK.
The annual competition, which is now entering its 5th year, aims to remind people that baking is an enjoyable activity for people of all ages - fun and rewarding for families, professionals, mothers, fathers – everyone who enjoys good, home made food.
At LucyCooks many of the visitors who attend our baking courses including ‘show stopping cakes’ and ‘classic cakes and bakes’ tell us they love to get creative with their home baking – so supporting Victoria Foods and Jane Asher’s search for the best Home Baker seemed like a very natural fit!
(If you feel you need some inspiration before you submit your recipe why not attend one of our many baking courses)
Our very own Lucy Nicholson is honoured to be one of the judges for the event in October.
All you have to do to have a chance of being crowned Home Baker of the Year is to submit a delicious cake recipe. Jane will then choose a shortlist of 5 to be entered into the final.
