Welcome to Lucy Cooks - a fabulous Cookery School situated in Staveley Mill Yard, near Kendal in Cumbria, The Lake District. It has a fresh and vibrant approach, where you will be inspired, educated and above all entertained!

Whether you're 9 or 90, we offer a whole range of individual one day practical courses and distinctly different demonstrations, designed to suit everyone from novice to Nigella... a course for all reasons and all seasons!

Janet Garlic our Queen of Cakes will demonstrate some of our favorite cakes and bakes whilst you feast on a selection served on Cumbrian Slate with pots of Lakeland Tea, we have available sittings at :12.30pm 1.45pm and 3.00pm £5.00 per person(places limited)

Enjoy a whole host of inspiring demonstrations, chat to the LucyCooks team and get a chance to meet some of the local Cumbrian suppliers whose produce we use in our practical courses.

You'll discover great foodie ideas and packages - vouchers, gifts and the very best of local produce to inspire you. We'll be showcasing new ideas for great food, with plenty of tasty samples to try and exclusive recipes and ideas to take away. And there's plenty of inspiration for culinary creations in our fabulous new LucyCookShop.

The afternoon is FREE - no need to book, simply drop in anytime on Sunday the 15th May 2011, from 12 noon 'til 4pm for a quick look or to linger longer... We would love to welcome you.
